Supporting The Special Olympics In Arcadia
The City of Arcadia is pleased to announce that they will be hosting athletes who will be participating in the 2015 Special Olympics this summer! The town is more than offer to extend a hand of hospitality and companionship to these special guests while they reside and train in Arcadia. As Arcadia is a host town for the Special Olympics coming up on July 25th, get ready to mark your calendars so that you can see these talented and determined athletes in one of the largest sporting events worldwide.
Every two years years, the Special Olympics brings over 7,000 athletes from 177 countries to compete in 25 sports competitions which are free and open to the public to spectate and attend. As these athletes descend throughout Los Angeles, the true meaning of joy, determination, and courage can be felt across the globe. With dozens of beautiful venues throughout Los Angeles, watching the competitions along the magnificent San Gabriel Mountains in Arcadia will truly be an amazing experience.
